Design of a New Year Tree full of Maker Movement Spirit.

Spool Tree is designed with the waste Filamet Spools, a couple of screws and lots of New Year Spirit.
​
During the design process we simplified the tree form into the basic triangle. We wanted to create a tree that has 360° effect with different experiences in 2D and 3D. We aimed to create a 3D effect when viewed from the corner but a 2D effect when viewed en face.
